This forge located in the hill country of nothern California, makes hand forged tomahawks and throwing knives specifically for participants in the Mountain Men Randezvous gatherings.

Fort Turner is located in the foothills of northern California, near the Oregon border, where pioneers and explorers hunted and traded furs in the 1800's. In the forge, hand made tomahawks, throwing knives and sheths are made by American craftsmen using heat treated and tempered steel. The hawks and knives manufactured here are made specifically for the Mountain Men Randezvous gatherings that works to preserve the traditions of the hunters and explorers that once roamed the hills of the wilderness.

The hawks come in several varieties, for throwing contests, for splitting and for kindling and hammering and can be fitted with a protective leather sheth.

The Fort Turner Throwing Knife has the traditional Old West Frontierman handmade look and is made to be thrown. It's a 14.5 oz 12.5'' medium carbon steel knife with leather handle and copper rivets.
